Vintage Burton 1984 Backhill – Yellow/Navy Blue

This 84 Backhill is one of the more rare Navy Blue on Yellow colorways. Only made as “color prototypes” before final production. The number of boards produced in this color is unknown but it is the only one that the owner has ever seen.

Condition of the topsheet is excellent mint. The graphics are clean with no major damage. The worst being a small chip of paint missing on the top right of the nose, approximately 1/16th of an inch. A previous wner had written their name and number on it, it is intended to the wood but not very visible unless up close. The heel straps on the bindings are aftermarket and can be remounted. The mounting thumb screws are clean and have no sign of age. The base is in excellent condition and looks as if it has barely been used, all of the letters are unbroken and clean. 

This is one of the rarest Backhills ever made in any condition, the fact that it is this good would make it the crown jewel of any collection.
