1994 Vintage Burton Asymmetrical Air Freestyle Snowboard Prototype

The 1994 Vintage Burton Asymmetrical Air Freestyle Snowboard Prototype has never been featured in any Burton catalog and is relatively unknown to most collectors and there is no name on it. Other than Burton, it has the Air style graphic from the late 1990’s. It is the only board Burton produced with an asymmetrical sidecut and twin tip geometry with no specific tip or tail, only a “heelside” edge. This is a rare board in excellent to mint condition with period correct bindings and leash. Bindings are fully functional and ridable, making it great for a retro board event. The topsheet would be considered in mint condition except for the 4” scratch just under the “u” in Burton. The base is in excellent condition with 95% of the factory finish still intact. The base has 8 t-bolt plugs in the base, 4 under each bindings to accommodate the new Burton 3 hole mounting disc. The base also has a “demo” stamp on one end. This is a very rare board in most collectors eyes.
