Vintage 1985 Moss Snowstick Snowboard

Moss Snowboards out of Japan in the 1980’s was innovating contruction methods and shapes that set it aside from other snowboards. The exclusive use of snowstick plate bindings was another notable advancement for the company. This board has a very unique shape and a kicktail under the rear binding.

This board is in excellent condition top to bottom. The only thing keeping it from being considered mint condition is there is an impact damage on the widest part of the tail from being dropped during shipping and the yellow parts of the bindings are discolored from age.

The topsheet is complete and in mint condition with original logo sticker on the nose. The base is in good condition due to the impact listed above. The bindings are complete and all original, note the channel shape of the base and kicktail placement with the bindings.

Moss was not distributed in the United States, the very few boards that are in America are form travelers selling or trading boards so they didn’t have to take them home. A common procedure in the 80’s.
