1987 Burton Express 175 Composite Vintage Snowboard

This is another rare find as the biggest production board of its day. The 175 Express was not for the faint of heart. Known as one of the fastest boards of the time, it was short lived and only saw one season of production and only appeared in the 1987 Burton catalog. It has zero sidecut and was built more like a monoboard. The iconic graphics were new for Burton. The serial number indicates it was made in July 1987. Topsheet is in excellent condition but could use a good cleaning. The board was nly mounted in the regular foot position and bindings rash is minimal. It has the factory installed black deck mat. The base is in excellent with no signs of damage but it feels rougher than normal and looks like it may have been run through a low grit sanding belt. The factory installed T-bolt plugs are all in tact, but a professional full tune would remove the minor rust on the edges and smooth out the base. The Express is a rare board in the late 80’s Burton line up.
