Special Style SIMS Early 80s Vintage Pro Snowboard with Bungee Cord Bindings [LTD]

Sims Early 80s Vintage Pro Snowboard

This all original Sims snowboard is made of five ply wood with no metal edges. The painted base is pre ptex and the bungee binding pre straps. The board is in fair to good condition overall.

The base is wood with red paint approximately 10% of the paint is scratched off. Base also has a period correct Sims sticker on the nose. There have been repairs to the tail fin and old wax is still applied. The topsheet is in good condition with all original decals and raised Sims wing pro emblem in the correct places. There are 4 period correct stickers that have been added to this board. Including a rare Del Mar skate ranch sticker.

The Tom Sims signature (R.I.P.) is authentic and original. All the golf cleat traction pins are original and complete. Heavy duty grip tape pads are complete and original. Rubber bungee board bindings and hardware are complete and original straps are still pliable and soft.

The stainless steel fins are original, straight, and clean. The only thing on this board that is not original is one of the fin mounting nuts and bolts. These five ply  boards are extremely rare and even rarer without modifications.
